Here are the entries for the PCAGOE Monthly Challenge.  The theme was “metallic showdown”.  Each entry had to have been made using some metallic clay.  Click on each entry to see a closer picture and description.  The voting starts November 1st and goes until midnight eastern time of November 7th.

Our theme for this month’s challenge is “Metallic Showdown”.

All entries must have some metallic clay in them.  You may also use metallic elements such as wire or metallic paints or powders.  Complete rules are located in the “monthly challenge” catagory to the right.

Another beautiful entry is from crazyday . It is a brooch titled Heather Moor.

Entries will be accepted in the PCAGOE Flickr Challenge Pool until midnight Eastern time on Oct. 28th.

The votes have been tallied in our October PCAGOE challenge. Only 4 votes separated second, third, fourth and fifth place this month. All the entries were amazing and beautiful. Thank you to everyone who entered and everyone who voted!

The winners of the October challenge are:

First place goes to Studioschiek for her stunning “Lady In Waiting” framed polymer clay sculpture inspired by Gustav Klimt. This entry was the overwhelming favorite of the voters, garnering more than 50% of the total votes.

Second place goes to Spiritmama for her beautiful pendant, a faithful rendition of Edvard Munch’s “The Scream”.

Third place goes to NKDesigns for her beautiful Yellow Calla Lilies image transfer pendant and gemstone necklace, inspired by Georgia O’Keeffe’s series of Calla Lily paintings.
