Pendants With A Purpose is a program designed to donate our art jewelry pendants to women going through trying times. Our hope is that the pendants will give them a tangible reminder to never give up hope.
The members of the PCAGOE are donating pendants for cancer patients as part of the Look Good Feel Better program affiliated with the American Cancer Society at the local chapter in Amarillo Texas. The Look Good…Feel Better program is a community-based, free, national service that teaches female cancer patients beauty techniques to help restore their appearance and self-image during chemotherapy and radiation treatments. By the time they leave a Look Good…Feel Better session, they take with them a new, more positive outlook and improved self esteem. By donating our pendants, we are helping to add to their positive outlook during their cancer treatment.
Dawn of Hardflowerstudios has also been asked to present some of our pendants at the Amarillo local chapter’s annual Cancer Survivor Dinner.
